The Duration of the Match

The match lasts two equal periods of (see Below) minutes, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the referee and the two participating teams. Any agreement to alter the periods of play (for example to reduce each half because of insufficient light) must be made before the start of play and must comply with competition rules.

· U8 – 2 x 20 minute periods – 40 Minutes total

· U10 – 2 x 25 minute periods – 50 Minutes total

· U13 – 2 x 35 Minute periods – 70 Minutes total

· U16 – 2 x 40 Minute periods – 80 Minutes total

Allowance for Time Lost

No Allowance is made in either period for all time lost through:

substitutions
assessment of injury to players
removal of injured players from the field of play for treatment
wasting time
any other cause

Abandoned Match

An abandoned match is not replayed.
